Long review but its been a nightmare so i felt its important. To give some context, I have been a customer of Acura of fremont for the last 9 years. I bought my car with them and every service to date has been done by them. They were always expensive but it gave me peace of mind that I am going to a professional legit dealership who will be competent and won't try to send me in circles. I have never challenged them or their recommendations. They weren't always the most transparent but it didn't bother me as much. But this time they just crossed a line. On 1/5/2024, my wife took the MDX in for an A1 service. Out of that service, the recommendation also came to get the brake pads fixed. We don't screw around with brake pads so we agreed. All in all, after a VIP discount, I paid them about $730. However, after I picked up the car from the dealership, on my way back every time i braked the steering wheel pulsated and the car is very unstable. My wife drove and we felt the same. We got an appointment to take it back. Once they checked out the car, the service rep Justin Winn called back and said its the front struts and rear shocks leaking and i would have to pay another $2250 - now i am not an auto expert but those parts don't seem to have anything to do with the brakes. Moreover, the week before when we had the brake pads changed, the service rep then (Reshad) had marked the struts and shocks as green. I have attached a picture of the inspection. So between the time the service was done and we took it home, the car was still at the service center so if something happened to the shocks and struts, it is then on the dealership. Also he couldn't release it on the friday evening (/12) and wouldn't give me a loner either so i don't have a car- thats the customer service part. On Saturday he texted us at 8.30 am to come pick up the car and said he would have us talk to the mechanic and we could take it on a test drive but he was not going to be able to do anything else. When we got there Justin wasn't there and we had to explain everything to a new guy Syed. He tried to help us or at least pretended but it was all punted on Justin. No mechanic, no justin and no information had been passed down. Syed said justin would call or email us but nothing yet. By this time, i was done - i had an unstable car and a very bad experience. I left with the car and went to nor cal tires and wheels. They test drove it, said it had nothing to do with struts and shocks but had resurfaced the rotors while those rotors should have been replaced. He replaced the rotors for me for $300 an the car is now great. I have also put a picture of old and new rotors also. So, all in all, for someone who has been there customer for 9 years (and aa VIP member), Acura showed incompetency, unaccountability, safety and a total lack of empathy for a customers time, money and weekend situation. They screwed up the rotor (safety issue) after charging me $700 for brake pads and then gave a wrong diagnosis for fixing it that would cost me $2250 more. When I tried to ask them to print out when my tires were changed last, Syed said he couldn't (they have my full history) and I had to take a picture of his screen with my camera since I didn't want to have to do anything with them for anything else (including tires replacement). It is unfortunate but for their name, this was the worst experience I've had with any auto service and I am not going to go back to them ever

Comfy waiting area with gourmet coffee machine while your Acura is in the back. Lesson learned - avoid Saturday morning appointments - 15 to 20 minutes wait just to check in

The best Acura car dealership, hands-down!! The confidence and trust I've had servicing and very recently buying new car from them has been consistently awesome!!! They are very professional and customer-centric!! We recently purchased a vehicle and our experience with the whole process was 10/10!! Thanks Acura of Fremont team!! And Especially big thanks to one of their best Sales Team Members, Branda!! Thank you so much for your service!!! Will definitely recommend her to all my nears and dears!! :)

Pre-Approved Auto loan buyers beware. I was lied to from the beginning till the end & if they promise you anything I would recommend you to have them put it in writing or record their voice. I came to Acura Fremont to buy a used car from their lot. I had an approval letter from my Bank (pre-approved auto loan) that has a relationship with this dealership. My bank told me it should be a fast transaction, quick in and out. The dealership wanted to do a light credit check to verify me with my Bank (not exact words). I called my Bank to verify & I was told this is common. So, I gave the dealership my information & approval letter. This process took almost an hour & they gave me some paperwork to sign & I was on my way. Later I found out they did not do a light credit check, the dealership ran a full credit check & applied for another auto loan with my Bank, I’m assuming they did this to get commission for the loan. This was done without my consent & I was misled to sign the papers because that was the process. When I called them to change the loan to my original application with my bank they declined to do so. They denied everything & basically told me to deal with it. My advice to you is, there are a lot of Acura dealerships in the Bay Area & you should take your business elsewhere. In my opinion, this car was purchased in an auction, & dropped in the lot for sale without any maintenance work. No tune up, oil change nothing. I have pictures of dashboard filter & spark plugs, unbelievable. update 10/31/23 to the manager at the dealership who is trying to reach out to me. I will not talk over phone because no one at the dealership wants to talk on record (recording conversation). You can contact me via email, the internet Sales Consultant has my information.

I would love to start this review with a quick little backstory. My fathers favorite car to purchase was a 1996 Acura integra. It was also my first car to learn how to drive in highschool. Unfortunately a little bit after graduating highschool the Acura broke down on us and we were told it was unfixable. It was junked but from there forward my dad was convinced to own another integra one day. Years went by and he purchased an Acura TL 2013. With more features and technology advances he fell in love with the Acura brand. With the announcement of the Integra making its comeback for 2023 his dream car as well as mine is to own a 2023 Acura Integra. Just like that my dads dream came true! Recently my dad just purchased his new Acura Integra 2023 Aspec w Technology package. The service was 10/10 from the help of Cesar and the head boss Tony. Although we spent a couple hours of the day at the dealership, it was our first time in a dealership in quite sometime. But the patience was worth the wait! My dad now drives his dream car in the most comfort and ease he’s ever had in a car since the 1996 Integra. He still cant believe it but my family and I are very proud and happy for him. All thanks to the help of Acura of Fremont! I will one day be back to purchase my OWN Acura Integra and it will definitely be with the people of Acura of Fremont!

Bought 2024 Acura MDX here and the experience is excellent all around. Nice people and beautiful car! High recommend Internet sales specialist Branda. Contacted here with email, she provided prompt response to the point with details and precisely. When I walk in, the car is ready, the deal is on the table, no surprising, no upsell, finished trade-in, finance, contract in less than 3 hours. She also provide good intro. to the car features, service manager, and Again Highly recommend Branda, professional, efficient, friendly car sale veteran, esp. for those who are not interested in the old school dealership front-back-office upsell tricks.

It has been seven months since I bought my first car in the U.S. soil. I saw the car on CarMax and called to the dealer, Cesar answered and I went to check the car. While test driving the car, I got a call from work and I have to leave. Cesar completed all the process in two hours and brings the car to my office. The manager also very helpful. It was a great experience to make a business with Acura of Fremont.
